If you’re ever in Zimbabwe, don’t miss the chance to take a swim in The Devil’s Pool, a small lagoon, enclosed by rocks, on the edge of one of the biggest, most beautiful waterfalls in the world, Victoria Falls. Set on Livingstone Island, at a height of 103 meters, Devil’s Pool is definitely one of the most surreal locations on Earth.

During the months of September and December, people can swim as close as possible to the edge of the falls without falling over.

I swam the Devil’s Pool last year. It was the most amazing experience of my life.

You don’t need a helmut, it’s not much more risk than jumping into a lake at home. Sometimes you’ve gotta know, when it’s your time…it’s your time.

It’s in Zambia. I’d say it’s as safe as skiing, white water rafting, commuting via bike to work in a busy city.

Like everything in life, if you haven’t experienced it yourself then you don’t get a vote and you should save judgement for those who do have the experience.

    Carpe Diem People!

  30. Tasker says:

I fell off there once. Wasn’t very nice I can tell ya!

  31. DJ says:

To all you idiots with the “Why cant i see what their looking at” and “notice how you dont see the pictures people take while theyre standing on the edge” comments. Use your fucking head, wouldnt you like to take a picture and be abble to say you stood on the edge of a waterfall. Theres nothing special over there, its just for making a good story >.>

  32. Swan says:

No, nothing special at all….except that it’s one of the Wonders of the World and the widest falls in the world..but yeah, not actually enjoyable to visit, it’s just good for a story right? pfffff…..

  33. DDekor says:

    Very dangerous but love it…
